Meet the meerkats

'Meet the meerkat' encounters allow you to get up close and personal to some of your favourite species here at the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis. Spend 20 minutes feeding, enriching and quizzing a keeper!

Encounters are also bookable on the day of your visit at the admissions desk. Places are however limited to 4 per encounter, so make sure you sign up early for your chance to interact with these amazing animals.

Encounters are suitable for ages 5 and up.

General admission to the zoo is not included in the price of 'Meet the animal' encounters.

As these animals can potentially catch illnesses from visitors, we require face coverings to be worn during these encounters.

Meerkat encounters run daily at 11:00 am.
